Pine Lane Trail Head to Boston Mills Loop

We will meet at the Pine Lane Trailhead parking lot just off 303 atop the hill east of Peninsula.  The address listed will get you to the turn on 303.  We will hike the valley trail to Boston and then take the Towpath to Penisula and finish up via the Buckeye Trail back to the Parking Lot.

This will be a moderate paced alternative to the 14 miler that starts at 9. Both will probably finish about the same time (1 PM), so we can meet at WK afterwards to exchange battle scars :-)

Distance ~ 5 miles

Was a nice walk with some wonderful freindly fellow hiking enthusiasts and some of their little 4 legged friends. Terrain was varied and interesting, I can't wait to revisit the same loop in Mid to late spring. Thanks Rosa for being our guardian Angel on the trip

Lots of varied terrain and challenging ice on the trails! Met some new people and hope to see them again on future hikes.

Sorry to miss the hike. I was late and could not catch up with the group.

It's too bad I never did catch up with the group. Oh well, I put in my 9 miles and saw a pair of super-sweet, trail-runnin' bootys. I'll call that a win.

Well, my lesson, breakfast sandwiches can kill you! Thanks for covering for me Rosa. I hope everyone had a good time! The part of the trail I did see during the 9 AM hike was beautiful!

Your all very welcome. I'm looking forward to it. Andrew leads great hikes too, so I'm going to try to do the first 1/2 of his and then repeat with you guys. I may be a bit smelly, but it will be fun!

Thanks for scheduling these "late" hikes. This is a 40 minute drive for me.
