Back Mountain Trail Walk

Late notice, but it looks like tomorrow will be perfect for a walk!! I am shifting the times for our walks a little later to accommodate days when I may be cycling early in the day.

The Back Mountain Trail is virtually flat, very slightly up hill going out, and down hill returning. We plan to walk about 2 miles and take about an hour. We will leave as soon as everyone arrives, or at the scheduled start time, whichever comes first. Exceptions may be made if we are notified that you will be a few minutes late.

We will meet in the corner of the parking lot of the Knights of Columbus, I will be in or near my maroon Subaru Legacy.

As usual with this group's walks, the policy will be no person left behind. Even though we are each responsible for our own safety, we are concerned for anyone who we walk and talk with, and if you need to turn back early we'll make sure that nobody is left alone, unless they really need some alone time.

Our pace is slow, and we provide a nice easy move from inactivity to activity.

This is a great place to walk with your children or pets, but children and pets must both be accompanied by a responsible adult. :)

Even though we are a conscientious group, you are responsible for coming prepared, and for your own safety. Please dress appropriately for the weather and temperature, layers are a good thing to allow for maintaining your comfort and safety. It is suggested that you bring water and appropriate emergency supplies that you may need in case anything arises.
