Come join us at the 32nd annual Simsbury Fly-In, Car Show and Food Truck Festival, scheduled for Sunday Sept 23rd at Simsbury Airport. It is primarily a great display of over 750 beautiful airplanes and cars of virtually every type and vintage, in a country fair-like venue, with many additional activities for the entire family. Over 150 participating businesses.. They have over 100 exhibitors, advertisers, and sponsors. Last year they attracted 15,000 spectators from all around the region, and are the largest event of its kind in the Northeastern USA.
Please note the addition this yearof a major Food Truck Festival.It will feature more than 20 food trucks, serving great things to eat - breakfast, ethnic foods, snacks, ice creams, and much more.
Let's all meet in front of the FBO at 10am sharp.
A quick summary of this year's activities includes: Radio control model aerobatics, AT-6 and helicopter rides, aircraft from Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, free seminars, live music, many kids activities, an aerial banner pickup demo, formation flying, LifeStar medivac helicopter, championship robotic teams, a gyrocopter demo, and much more. Local craft items, t-shirts, toys, new airplanes and cars for sale by dealers. Handicapped parking and restrooms. Pets on leashes welcome, with watering station provided. Car parking nearby, with proceeds to benefit Boy Scouts.There is no admission fee, but donations are gratefully accepted.
Aircraft (and car) judging and trophies. We encourage displays of antiques, classics, homebuilts, light spots, helos, small warbirds.....and even production airplanes.$10 fee to display your aircraft, helping to cover thecostof trophies.

NOTAM - Runway closed from 11:50am - 1:20pm. No flybys or low-passes. Refueling available after 3pm. Do not start your engine on the ground without wing walkers.
