Squamscott River to Downtown Exeter Paddle re-scheduled

This event open to all kayak types as well as canoes

High Tide at the Squamscott River RR Bridge - 4:00 pm

We'll meet at Chapman's Landing off of Rt. 108 Stratham NH and paddle up the Squamscott River into downtown Exeter with the incoming tide. Bring a snack and water or other beverage as we'll stop at the town landing in Exeter and have a short picnic in the adjacent park then paddle back to original launch site at Chapman's Landing. After the paddle we'll stop for dinner at a local restaurant or pizzeria.

Click photo above for a view of boat launch at Chapmans Landing.

Life vests aka PFDs must be worn when paddling with this group.

Due to cold water temps a wet or dry suit is strongly advised. Please dress appropriately for weather as well as water temperature.

Directions: Follow Rte. 108 North from Stratham or South from Newmarket. Chapman's landing is well marked & next to the metal bridge over river.

Perfect Day for this always wonderful trip. Small group but fun a fun group. Some folks got ice cream in Exeter which made the stop much sweeter.
