How many years have you been paddling?

Kayaking since 2009, but paddling since I was a kid.

What type or model kayak/canoe do you own?

F1 (skin-on-frame sea kayak), Chesapeake 18 (stitch-and-glue sea kayak), WaveSport Fuse 64 (plastic white water kayak).

What other outdoor sports do you enjoy?

Road bicycling, swimming, XC-skate-skiing

What formal or informal training have you had and what skills? ie Able to do wet exit and re-entry, can do eskimo roll, have taken kayak safety courses

I have mastered multiple eskimo roll variants on both sides, and have used eskimo rolls in "combat." I have taken multiple kayak safety courses. I am a Sea Kayak leader and a White-Water School Instructor with the NH AMC Paddlers.

Based on the Skill Levels on our Web Site About Us What Level kayaker are you?

I'm roughly a level 3.9 kayaker. I have most of the level 4 skills. However, I am only trained in basic first aid and CPR, not wilderness first aid.

I'm joining because I enjoy both sea and white water kayaking.
