Durable Functions is an extension to Azure Functions that allows users to orchestrate Function workflows. It provides a programmatic way for developers to orchestrate advanced Function workflows that require chaining, fan-in/fan-out and long running scenarios.
Katy Shimizu is a software engineer with the Azure Functions team at Microsoft. She works on Durable Functions, an extension that allows Functions users to coordinate stateful workflows in code. A .NET developer for 3 years and a Midwest native, she enjoys technical speaking and Seattle’s mild winters.
