The Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA is part of the International Taoist Tai Chi Society, a global volunteer organization with more than 500 locations in over 25 countries. The Society brings together people of different languages and cultures in a world-wide community. We teach a 108-move form of the Taoist Tai Chi® set meant to bring your mind, body and spirit into balance, providing many health benefits.

For more information, please visit our website: Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA. We have class locations around the Bay Area in Pleasant HillOaklandSan FranciscoPalo Alto,Sonoma, Fairfield-Suisun, and Santa Rosa. Please feel free to join our mailing list!

People from all walks of life and across the world tell how the practice of Taoist Tai Chi® arts has relieved stress, provided deep relaxation, given their bodies balance and strength, helped with pain, lifted spirits, and even changed their outlook on life. As one person says, “It’s for everybody. If you consider yourself an active athlete or you are in a wheelchair, it has something to offer you.”  Taoist Tai Chi is meant for people of all ages and fitness levels to improve your health, from whatever level you're starting.  The beginners' class series will teach the 108 moves of the Tai Chi set so that anyone who attends regularly will be able to perform the set with a group.

We'll learn several moves in each class and review the moves that we learned in earlier classes.  The 90 minute classes will also include a social break and members share their experience over tea and snacks. Members report that some of their best and most enduring friendships were formed during those breaks.

Come join us.  Is fun, invigorating and provides profound health benefits for your balance, circulation, digestion, breathing, flexibility and overall health, as well!
