Lightroom 5 - The 5000' View ...

Session Overview:
With Lightroom 5, Adobe has finally come up with the full meal deal
including comprehensive image management, editing, printing, mapping,
slideshows, web posting and more. Although the most exciting enhancements in
this version are pretty much in the editing tools, users still need to
understand some fundamentals, such as how to manage files using Lightroom, where
Lightroom edits are stored, and tools for reviewing and rating photos, efficient
searching, filtering, backups and workflow. Beyond the basics, there are also
the most useful keyboard shortcuts and interface setup that make things so much
easier to understand and navigate.

Join Rebecca Benoit of Pixelegacy for an overview of the basics of each
module, and comprehensive guidance on how to work efficiently with the program
to create file order, effectively use Search, keyword, use Collections in your
workflow, use and create presets to automate tasks, export for social media or
print, set up backups and more.
Rebecca is a member of Women Learning Photography Together. She is also a professional photographer who teaches classes at NewSpace Center for Photography

Who Is This Class For?
This class is great for photographers who are thinking of getting Lightroom
and want to get an idea of how it works, and those who already have Lightroom
but need to get a better handle on how to use it. Advanced users will also no
doubt get some jewels!

What Do I Need To Bring?
The session will be more of a demonstration than an actual hands-on class,
however, you are welcome to bring a laptop with Lightroom already installed (you
can download a 30 day free trial if you like) to follow along if you like.

Anything Else?
You'll take home a handout with guidance on the information
covered.

Session Two will cover the following: This workshop will be held in November .. Date and time to be announced as soon as possible
