This group was started for those who seek to take control over their health naturally through yoga and an ayurvedic lifestyle. Whether you are a seasoned yogini or simply curious to see if this is for you, we will have meetings that welcome and are fun for all.
Through workshops, yoga classes, hiking trips, kirtans, fire ceremonies, cooking classes, (we are open to suggestions!) we hope to build a sangha or a community of like minded people.

Ayurveda is a system of medicine that is thousands of years old.It is gaining popularity in leaps and bounds in the West as people seek alternative ways to stay healthy naturally and avoid drug therapies.Ayurveda does not look at the disease but ‘who’ has the disease.It is not unusual for several people with the same disease to be treated differently.
Ayurveda , yoga’s sister science, means ‘Science of Life’.It is the art of daily living and once you understand the principles, it is beautifully simple!It teaches us to know the qualities of our own unique bodies, how food, lifestyle, seasonal changes affect our physical, mental, emotional health, to recognize the signs and symptoms of when we begin to go out of balance and how we can bring it back to balance before it becomes disease.It empowers us to choose health instead of always chasing it through seasonal shifts in our diet and lifestyle and through rejuvenation.Nature provides for us what we need to stay healthy!
