Attention all Members:

This meetup will repeat itself automatically on the second Sunday of every month. The meeting time will always be 1:00 PM. The venue, for now, will be:

The Fresh Grocer, 100 Kirkpatrick Street, New Brunswick, NJ.

The meetings will take place in the café on the second floor of the building.

The Fresh Grocer supermarket is located inside the RWJ Fitness & Wellness building, almost directly across from the train station (and off to the right) in downtown New Brunswick, NJ. The location is accessible by NJ Transit trains from NY Penn Station, Trenton, and all stations in between. Also, downtown New Brunswick is a hub for local NJ Transit buses in Middlesex County.

Walking from the Southbound train station: People getting off the southbound train from Penn Station should walk to the south end of the platform, past the Barnes & Noble, down the stairs, underneath the railroad overpass on Easton Avenue, and proceed across Albany Street (Route 27) and turn right. The Fresh Grocer building is at the end of the block.

Coming from Philadelphia, members will be able to reach New Brunswick via SEPTA train to Trenton, then NJ Transit train to New Brunswick.

Coming from NYC/Going to NYC, there is also a Coach USA Suburban Transit bus that leaves NY Port Authority at Gate 417 and stops in East Brunswick Tower Center and downtown New Brunswick (by the train station) on its way to Princeton. Likewise, the bus from downtown Princeton to NYC stops there as well.

For those who are driving, there is a parking garage behind the Fresh Grocer/RWJ Fitness and Wellness building. It offers 3 hours of free parking on Sundays, after which the rate is $2 an hour. There is also the Gateway parking garage on Wall St (behind the train station), which also charges $2 an hour.

In addition to the group: For those who have extra time, there are plenty of things to do in downtown New Brunswick. There is a Barnes & Noble bookstore and café right next to the southbound train platform. Behind it is the College Avenue campus of Rutgers University. There is also an array of student oriented shops and pubs on Easton Avenue. There could not possibly be a more convenient and favorable location in central New Jersey.

With Sincerest Best Wishes,
Your Organizer,
Daniel Szyper
