For the first time, the Norwegian Developers Conference (NDC) in cooperation with 13 user groups in Oslo, will be hosting a special event on the evening of Tuesday the 3rd of June just before kicking off NDC. User groups in Oslo are invited to bring international speakers from NDC at their meetups in Oslo Spektrum, totally free! NNUG Oslo will be holding a talk by Dominick Baier followed by the panel debate with Dominick Baier, Mark Seemann and Mark Rendle. You will also be able to go to the other user groups' sessions.
Note: The link to signup for this event is here: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/ndc-community-tuesday-tickets-11545114749 It is not enough to RSVP to the MeetUp Event.

17:30 Modern Applications need modern Security - what we've been working on recently - by Dominick Baier
Authentication, authorization, single sign-on, delegated API access, federation and social logins on their own are not new concepts. In modern application development they are all now combined together – and that’s not trivial with existing technologies. That’s the reason we’ve been working on a new version of our open source identity & access control project called IdentityServer v3.
Let me walk you through common scenarios and how they can be solved using a combination of OpenID Connect and OAuth2.This will be also the first time I am showing the new bits in public to a broader audience.
18:30 Panel debate with Dominick Baier, Mark Rendle and Mark Seemann
The topics will be ASP.NET vNext, Project K, Universal Windows Apps, Xamarin and many more! If you want your question asked feel free to propose it in the comments.
To join this awesome event, make sure to register by visiting the following link:
The NDC committee will be using the registration form in the link above, so RSVP-ing through meetup.com alone is not enough if you want to join. We will finish the event at 19:15, then move on to NDC GeekBeer where we will grab some beer at Oslo Mekaniske Verksted.
We are really excited about this event, and hope you are too! See you on the 3rd, this is going to be legendary!
