November Forecast: Sunny!
Who cares what the weatherman says? Our next meeting will be full of sun as Mike Poupko, from the North Shore Music Institute, leads us in various tips and techniques in how to perform, Sunny, the beloved pop song originally written and recorded by Bobby Hebb in 1966. • What to bring: Don’t forget your uke, The Daily Uke, your music stand AND your dues for 2018 if you haven’t already paid. • Important to know: RSVP to [masked] so we know how to prepare the room

What we're about

The North Shore Ukulele Society focuses on learning new techniques and also on playing in a group format. Our group meets the first Sunday afternoon of each month (except in July and August) at the Ethical Humanist Society in Skokie, IL. Dues are $35 per year. First time visitors can attend twice for FREE. Non-members pay $5.00 for each session after the FREE period.

Come try us out. Just bring your ukulele, a music stand, a pencil, and a copy of The Daily Ukulele if you have one. We'll supply the rest.

We appreciate an RSVP through this site if you decide to join us. We want to make sure we set out enough seats. Hope to see you soon.
