Want to be a Maker/Exhibitor at the Maker Faire NoVa on June 2, 2019? We will have experts on hand to help you with your project ideas. Being a Maker is FREE!
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the School of Business are excited to collaborate with Maker Faire Nova to encourage Mason students to participate in this incredible opportunity.
Current students (from any field of study) at Mason are eligible for financial support of up to $1,000 per student/team for Maker Faire projects.
Interested students should email ([masked]) a brief description (one or two paragraphs) about their idea for a Maker Faire project. Please be sure to include a breakdown of the materials needed and the associated costs.
Partnerships with Nova Labs members will be encouraged but not required. Nova Lab members that are interested in mentoring or assisting with student projects- please [masked].
Also, tips and tricks on how the Maker Faire gets the word out via social media from GMU’s own Asma Chaudhary (Adjunct Faculty, GMU School of Art).
