This week is a special edition open office featuring Women in Making! We'll print up some parts for the WeTheBuilders Rosie the Riveter - a large sculpture made out of many smaller 3D printed parts.
Full information here: https://www.wethebuilders.com/projects/8
If you have a printer, please go to the WeTheBuilders site, sign in and click the "give me a file to print" link.
I can collect printed parts to mail together, but you'll need to take and submit a picture yourself for credit, or to get another part to print.
Parts can be printed in any material, but they've requested that they all be flesh-toned; so if you have any beige/tan/brown filament please bring it! I'll have some extra spools, but probably not very many for Monday.
If you don't have a printer, you can still sign up and use one of Nova Labs' printers to make your contribution!
They're also looking for short video testimonials, which we will try to facilitate.
Come and build your own 3d printer, learn more about 3d printing technology, find out when the next build group is happening. Bring your own printer in for troubleshooting, asking questions, or fine tuning. We also welcome people who have already built their own printers to help others get theirs going!
