New Meetup: May NOVA-Django Lunch Meetup

Announcing a new Meetup for NOVA-Django!

What: May NOVA-Django Lunch Meetup

When: Friday, May 7,[masked]:00 PM

The National Journal Group
600 New Hampshire Ave NW
Washington, DC 20037

Please join us for the May Lunch Meetup for NOVA-Django. This time we're trying something a little different, and getting out of Crystal City for the day.

We will be meeting at the Watergate in a room and lunch hosted by The National Journal Group. This meetup includes FREE PIZZA thanks to the kind folks at NJG.

The theme for this meetup is: Django Forms. We would like to encourage anyone who has an interesting topic around forms to get in touch. We still have some room for presenters, so contact Shawn or Katie if you have something you'd like to propose.

I will update this post with the exact speakers and info about how to get to the room we'll be in over the weekend.

Here are some directions and parking info from our host at NJG, Carlo Costino:

There should be parking space available at the 700 Watergate complex (entrance is on New Hampshire Ave., NW), the 600 Watergate complex (entrance is on F St., directly across from the Kennedy Center itself), and the Kennedy Center (you?ll have to drive around the whole building to the other side, you can?t enter from F St.). There are some metered street parking spots along the service lane of Virginia Ave. that is next to the Watergate, New Hampshire Ave. and F St. but they are all usually taken.

If possible, I recommend Metro for anyone that can do it, it?s just easier. Take the Blue or Orange line to Foggy Bottom-GWU, walk west on I street to New Hampshire Ave., NW and then just walk straight down it, crossing Virginia Ave. and heading down almost all the way to F St., 600 Watergate is the last building on the right (there?s a big sign for it) and the Saudi Embassy is on the left for reference.
