What we're about

Welcome to NSBC CONNECT - fun, social, dining and more with NSBC friends!

About this Group: If you love meeting new people, making friends, dining out, and taking part in various social opportunities,, please join us! Even if you are not fully engaged with everything this group offers, we want everyone to feel welcome and to join in anything that peaks their interest! Many of our events are simply.opportunities to connect with friends and make new ones in a social setting. These "simply social" events may include dinner, breakfast or coffee outings, ladies night out, a movie night, a potluck, a party, a walk, etc. Most of our social events will take place in the NORTH SHORE of BOSTON AREA and will be for ladies only, since the organizers are all ladies who attend NSBC. Our social events will be listed very clearly as "simply social" so that you will know precisely what to expect at every event. We enjoy interacting with each other on a regular basis and we really want to connect with more people, make new friends, and be involved in the community in any way possible! Let's connect!

OUR LOCATION IS 5 CHERRY HILL DRIVE, DANVERS

About NSBC: Our organizers are all ladies who attend North Shore Bible Church, therefore we will be listing our services and Bible studies in addition to the social events for anyone who is interested in participating. We are a small, new church, with a friendly, family-like atmosphere. We are committed to learning what it means to have a real relationship with God by studying the Bible. If you want to know more about the church you can visit our website: http://www.northshorebiblechurch.com . We have a campus in Danvers and a campus in Essex which has been in existence for over 15 years.

Regular Services:

Sunday morning @ 10:15 am with a children's program for children under age 10. We are a small, casual, family-like church. We start out with some singing and announcements followed by a sermon that is usually 20-30 minutes long. After church we enjoy some really great food and snacks and we hang out and talk to each other.

Tuesday night life group @ 7:00 pm - a small, casual Bible study. We spend some time chatting and sit in a circle for better conversation.

Untangling Emotions - Discussion Group, Friends, Snacks

Cherry Hill Corporate Center Llc

How do you feel about how you feel?! Emotions can be confusing, hard to unravel, and difficult to understand. We can suppress them, be numb to them, or let them get the best of us. How can we better deal with our emotions, and how can we better understand them? This Discussion Group is for: 1. People whose emotions baffle & intrigue them 2. People who want to explore a different or new way of thinking about emotions 3. People whose emotions tend to go to extremes / want support 4. People who want to help others who are struggling with emotions 5. People who just enjoy good thought provoking discussion and want to meet people, make friends, and discuss life One of the goals of this group is to help all of us understand our own inner world and the inner world of other people. In doing so, we will be looking at some aspects of our emotions from a Christian counselor’s point of view which will include, at times, what the Bible says about our emotions. If you're not sure about this aspect of it, keep an open mind and give it a try! You may agree, disagree, be neutral, baffled, or challenged! All is OK and our differing backgrounds and reactions will hopefully stir the pot and produce a productive and helpful discussion! We will start off with light refreshments, introductions, and "life talk". We will move right into our "Emotions" discussion (Christine will facilitate). We will wrap up the discussion between 8:00 and 8:15 (if we're really on a roll with a great discussion we may extend it a few minutes). Hope to see you there!
