Announcing the OpenGL ES Book Club!

From: Brendan M.
Sent on: Sunday, July 28, 2013 12:27 PM

We've got some exciting news coming up! Starting in August NSCoder and the Toronto Apple User Group are going to be holding their 2nd book club. The topic this time around will be OpenGL ES. We will be using the book The book can be ordered at a discount from InformIT using the following codes:

35% off the print edition: USERGROUP

45% off the ebook edition: IUGD45

We will be trying to cover a chapter a week so the whole book should take about 3 months to finish. This may be adjusted based on group progress. We are going to try and hold a meet up  every 2 weeks where people can get together and discuss their progress, chat about the latest topics and show off any cool stuff they've created.

These events will be held at the same time as the existing NSCoder events so even if you aren't learning OpenGL ES you can drop by just to say hi and hang out.

You can RSVP for the first event here:

or join in on the discussion here:[masked]
