What we're about

Our Philosophy

We have started a movement in North Texas by bridging together like-minded Moms who encourage one another in life, love, faith, and motherhood.

Our events are where moms can meet to share their hopes, fears, insights, and dreams in a format that works with their schedules but doesn’t neglect their family or their need for friendship.

Our Story

Originally, North Texas MOMtourage was Working Moms Need Fun, Too (WMNFT). This is a Moms group that started in Irving in 2011 - when Crystal (Organizer) had her daughter, Sophia, now 7 years old. She explains that her motive behind starting the group was to cater to women who were not Stay-At-Home moms. See Crystal's discussion behind her decision to create a new group on the About Us page. https://www.meetup.com/Working-Moms-Need-Fu... (https://www.meetup.com/Working-Moms-Need-Fun-Too-Frisco-Chapter/about/)

After over 100+ members and over 50 events, the original group was handed down in 2013 to a fellow member. Unfortunately, life happened and the other group eventually dissolved.

Crystal moved to the Frisco area in Fall 2016 and she thought it would be great to start something like this again.

This group is for ALL Moms... SAHM are welcome, too! Most events will be weekday evenings with an emphasis on weekends. You can look forward to different themed Moms Nights Out, playdates, and various activities around the city. There are no restrictions on joining and no dues. Come out and meet us at any of our scheduled meetups! Don't like what you see... Please add an event. We are always open to suggestions/feedback.
