This is a beautiful approximately 5 mile hike along the Potomac River. It will be a great opportunity to socialize, make new friends and exercise while having fun.
Starting at the Riverbend Visitor Center, we will hike the Potomac Heritage Trail west for about 2.5 miles. There are few hills but nothing strenuous. We will trace our steps back to the visitor center. We start promptly at 9:00 am so please plan to arrive by 8:45 to sign in. I hike at 2.5 to 3 miles per hour. We stop occasionally to let everyone catch up. Dogs are permitted on this hike in accordance with the NVHC Dog Policy. https://tinyurl.com/nvhcdogpolicy
