Be sure to arrive in time to find & pay for parking and your ferry ticket.

Description: Register for this walk on the ferry. (Fee parking at ferry terminal). You need not take your car as the walk begins and ends from the ferry landing in Friday Harbor. There is a parking fee. Walk along country roads with fabulous water views. The walk finishes through downtown Friday Harbor. The 5 km stays in Friday Harbor business and residential districts. Toilets available at ferry landing but not on the walk routes. Take water as there is none on the route.

Start Times: We will take the 9:30 ferry arriving at Friday Harbor at 10:35. We will register and stamp on the ferry. We plan to return on the 1:55 arriving at Anacortes at 3:00. There is a later ferry leaving at 4:15 and arriving at Anacortes at 5:40. The 1:55 is an international ferry and we will clear customs in Anacortes. Always before we have gone through as a group and we will carry passports, enhanced drivers license or nexus cards. So bring your ID to reenter the U.S. although we don't actually leave the country.

Start Point / Driving Directions: Anacortes Ferry Terminal, 2100 Ferry Terminal Rd. Anacortes, WA 98221. From I-5 Exit 230 (Burlington.) Take Route 20 West and follow signs to Anacortes. Turn right on Commercial. Left on 12th St., 12th becomes Oakes Ave. Right on Ferry Terminal Rd.
