I wanted to give everyone a heads up on my plans for this coming weekend. So far I am planning on driving to Smith Rocks on Friday. I will be bringing my large tent.
We will just stay at the Bivouac area at the state park, there are showers, hot water and other facilities that make it a nicer place to stay.
Since we will be going on Friday, you will be responsible for carpooling arrangements It may be best to put a comment on the site to state your requirement. I also am leaving the cost of gas between you and your ride.
Andee and Katya assignment is to find us some climb routes of various degrees of difficulty.
Weather seems to be improving.
Gear, bring what you can and I think we will have plenty to go around.
Last, Bruce was the originator of this meet up, he has since started leading on the Portland Climbers group. As far as I know, they will also be there that weekend. Hopefully, we will all be able to share the routes and expertise available.
Last of the last, if someone has a Slack Line maybe we could set it up.

Getting a headstart on this one. Let's go to Smith for the weekend. Looking for other climbers to spend the weekend at Smith Rock. All levels are welcome. I am only leading 5.7 these days, and would love to meet some other rock climbers. I have two ropes and gear for setting top ropes. I am opening rsvp's now, but can only allow five more, unless someone else steps up to do some leading. If other lead climbers sign up, I will increase the total number of people allowed to participate. Please, let me know your skill level and let me know if you can bring a rope.
To sign up you must have your own harness, helmet, rock shoes, belay device, and know how to use it.
We will be car camping at the bivouac, so, bring whatever.
This description will be updated.
