Speaker- Baruch Gindin was ranked by Israel Computer Weekly Magazine as one of its few "Twenty Years Continuous Most Influential IT Executives" and in 2014 he completed a career of 28 years as an executive at Gartner, where in the last years he headed the hi-tech industry emerging economies in EMEA. Baruch also built the hi-tech road map for the Israel Government (including the "Go No Go" for Intel's largest ex-USA multi-billion dollar investment), adopted later also by other states. At present Baruch has returned to the CEO position of Comset Ltd. He has also been appointed by multinational companies (in particular Ford Motors) to act as their scout for hi-tech. He serves as a Board Member on three Israeli and two American hi-tech companies. Baruch studied Economy for the first degree and IT Business Management for Master at Tel-Aviv University Business, where he also lectured on IT for several years.
Speaker - Azi Cohen is an entrepreneur/CEO with 20 years’ experience managing technology-based startups. He was the CEO of Eurekify, the pioneer developer of Enterprise Role Management software (acquired by CA). Before Eurekify, Azi was the CEO and GM of several companies, including Aduva, Sapiens Israel and Precise Software Israel. Azi is an active angel investor with a focus on enterprise software and a member of the New York Angels. He serves as Chairman and Board Members of several companies. Azi holds a B.Sc. with honor in Engineering of Information Systems from the Technion.
Panelist - Bart Stanco is a vice president and executive partner with Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company. Currently with Gartner Executive Programs, Mr. Stanco’s was previously CIO at Gartner, responsible for all aspects of the internal IT systems, including application development, communication, Web development for internal applications, production systems, IT system operations, IT asset acquisitions and leasing, and the portfolio management development of a comprehensive, three-year IT plan. Mr. Stanco has been named Gartner Analyst of the Year three years in a row, one of the Premier 100 Leaders in the IT Industry for 2002 and was recognized by CIO magazine for business alignment in 2001. He is a board member of Women's Business Development, a commissioner for the State of Connecticut and the vice chair of the Connecticut Education and Technology Commission. Mr. Stanco holds bachelor's degrees in pre-medicine and electrical engineering from Polytech, where he researched the bionic medical field.
