ACT 1: Ellen Weiss

Ellen Weiss is an entertainer, singer, and teacher with a passion for emotional authenticity in the many forms that it can be manifested. Her strong lyrical voice is at home with many styles of music from the great jazz standards to musical theatre to folk, pop and blues. Whether composed on piano or guitar, her music is deeply personal and expressive, always originating from a drive to discover personal truths that can have universal recognition. But Ellen would never want to put aside the need to have pure pleasure and fun in the musical experience.

ACT 2: The Bliss Jockeys

The Bliss Jockeys are a dynamic rock/pop/gospel band led by singer/songwriter Phil Robinson. A popular fixture on the NYC performance circuit, the band also regularly plays festivals & special events throughout the larger NY area.

Part rock, part gospel & part jam band, The Bliss Jockeys feature a large, gospel-style choir of fantastic female voices, and deliver a big, delirious experience that energizes, inspires and gets audiences singing along every time.

Taking their name from Joseph Campbell's phrase, "Follow Your Bliss," the band draws from a deep well of mythic inspiration-- its repertoire includes Phil's fun, upbeat originals such as 'Transcendental Cowboy' and 'Through The Middle' as well as poignant cover songs such as 'Hallelujah' and 'People Get Ready' that showcase the unique musical breadth of the choir.

A beautiful red-curtain theater on the Upper West Side, the world-renowned Triad Theater has hosted performances by entertainers like Slash, Joan Osborne, Lisa Loeb, Paula Cole, Susan Lucci, Buddy Miles, Ravi Coltrane, Debbie Gibson, David Crosby, George Benson, Max Weinberg, John Entwistle, Tracey Morgan, Kathie Lee Gifford, Matthew Broderick, Rachel Dratch, and Steve Gutenberg. The Triad was the original home for Off-Broadway hits like "Forever Plaid," "Forbidden Broadway," and "Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know."
