Tell us about your creative side.

I dance Argentine tango and salsa and passionately love music -- but my friends say it's the "funny" that's the most original part of me -- and so I'm hoping humor legitimizes my joining your group! (excuse the fan in the photo -- a moment of silliness after too much wine)

Where can we see/hear/read some of your works? Any links?

What do you hope to gain by participating in the culture circle?

The courage to develop and share my fun-loving side in a receptive, supportive place and of course opportunity to meet new people --

What are your favorite cultural expressions? Which movies, songs, novels, poems, museums, etc.?

Links to some of your favorite web-sites for creative inspiration?

One of my favorite tango dancers/teachers -- dancing to a wonderful (atypical) song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbDxVYWqrTU Tribute to a marvelous salsa dancer -- BUT -- someone put together some clips of him dancing his signature moves -- but the music is James Brown!! -- LOVED the combo :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZ8iorPfTPc Hope you enjoy!

Introduction

Here's what prompted my joining: "...sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage -- just, literally, twenty seconds of embarrassing bravery -- and I promise you, something great will come of it." Quote from the movie "We Bought a Zoo"
