Still in time to RSVP for Tuesday's meetup and some hardware reading

Hey hardwarians,

I hope you enjoyed the weekend - but before you start to prepare for the week ahead, go take a look at the amazing roster of speakers we have on Tuesday's meetup, and cancel that 15th blind date your friends organized for you and come over.

Here are some great articles about hardware startups that may be useful:

  • Chris Quintero from Bolt has been doing the arduous work of figuring out who's funding hardware, and has a great article on getting venture funding and another on the state of the hardware union.
  • CB insights also has an insightful (pun intended) article on why hardware startups fail. If you don't have time to read the article, the basic idea is that hardware startups fail because they don't attend enough of this meetup's events...

Also, NYC has just released some of their biggest challenges, and are looking for people like yourselves to propose bold ideas for it. I really like initiatives like this, which should encourage people to work on large and worthwhile problems.

See you on Tuesday!

Haytham
