Going Long: The Craft of Longform Tech Journalism

For our second event, we're ecstatic to host an absurdly accomplished group of writers for a discussion about the craft of long-form tech and business journalism.

Joining the panel is Lizzie Widdicombe (http://www.newyorker.com/contributors/lizzie-widdicombe) of The New Yorker, Steve Bertoni (http://www.forbes.com/sites/stevenbertoni/) of Forbes and Jessica Pressler (http://nymag.com/nymag/jessica-pressler/) of New York Magazine.

I've temporarily checked my vanity and the very talented Max Linsky of Longform.org (http://longform.org) will lead the discussion. Longform.org is beloved among the literary set, and Max has devoted the last four years of his life to promoting and curating longform journalism.

The Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at NYU has graciously agreed to host us this time around.

Rough Agenda:

6:30 - Arrive and talk to each other
7:00 - Panel discussion
8:00 - More mingling
9:00 - Get kicked out

As always, our entry fee will be put directly towards snacks, beer, and thank you gifts for our panelists.

Look forward to seeing all of you fine people there.
