The Lonely Wild - help Support Patrizia

The Lonely Wild
Plus Special Guests
Friday, May 17,[masked]:00 PM EDT
Union Hall, Brooklyn, NY,

The Lonely Wild is an indie-folk Americana L.A. band based in Los Angeles, CA.
With songs that blaze through the dusty American West, this quickly rising L.A. quintet (ready to release their LP “The Sun As It Comes”) is at a junction of sounds that both look back to songs of Ennio Moricone ( you may remember the old spaghetti Western movies) and forward to the raw rock tradition that has evolved from that.

They aren't a country band and they're not quite rock either. Here, at that space between, the aching voice of singer/guitarist Andrew Carroll coalesces with Jessi Williams' soaring vocals, while Andrew Schneider's guitar textures and Ryan Ross' keys create rich textures over Dave Farina's tumbling drums. Together, they make music both melancholy and hopeful, raucous and tender, in a singular and sincere sound that battles against this age of cynicism.

PS. Dave Farina is the son of our “Official Baker” Patrizia Farina. Let’s all go and support him, the band, and live music in general.

Patrizia will be hosting this event.   I will be attending their other area performance.  I will be post that event when tickets are available.

RSVP will not reserve a seat at the show. Reservation must be done directly through the site

Another brilliant and professional performance by The Lonely Wild, last night, this time in Brooklyn. Very well received by the audience too. In fact my son told me that he changed his mind about staying away from the North East... Of course he doesn't know that Steve's "production crew" picked for him the best possible weather that they could give him (he doesn't suspect about how miserable winter can be and how suffocating the summers...). It was great to see the band again, spending lots of extra time with my son (they started playing -alas!- at 11:00pm) and getting to know lovely Brooklyn. Today... after two night on the town...I am recuperating... :)
