Woodlawn Cemetery partners with The Bronx Historical Society for this one-of-a-kind tour.

Woodlawn Cemetery is the final resting place to many notables and their families who have contributed to a beer-brewing legacy in The Bronx dating back to the 1850s. These mostly German families have made their impact in communities such as Melrose, Morrisania, Mott Haven, and other areas in the South Bronx.

To celebrate this legacy, this tour will take participants on our Woodlawn Trolley, beginning at Woodlawn Cemetery and then on to the borough’s newest breweries and beer halls.

The Bronx County Historical Society will lead the tour.

The tour starts and ends at the Jerome Avenue entrance of Woodlawn Cemetery.

There will be a one-hour lunch break in in Little Italy (Arthur Avenue). Lunch is not included.

Price: $40, or $35 for members of Woodlawn
