Let us know what aspect of fantasy you are interested in.

I love myth and fantasy.

If you have read the Lord of the Rings books, did you see the movies first or did you read the books first?

I read the Hobbit years ago. Tried to read the Trilogy because everyone else in my age group was reading it. Couldn't get into it. I saw the Peter Jackson movies. Then, my friend Alexei Kondratiev, a Celtic scholar, and Tolkien lover talked to me about them. He introduced me to marvels of Tolkien's work. Read all the books and everything else I could get my hands on.

Do you know who the Inklings were? Don't worry if you don't know. You'll find out if you attend a meet up.

Of course, I had read Charles Williams before I actually got into Tolkien. C.S. Lewis was a favorite author at my church as well. Both were Inklings.
