If you guys are looking for a free "latin dance" place in NYC, Gonzales y Gonzales is a nice place to go. Live Band until 1:30am every Friday and Saturday and they cater to the Salsa lovers.....but do a mixture of genres. The drinks are reasonably priced and for the most part, well prepared.
Son Cubano is a nice place although very small and people dance like sardines....lol In addition, the drinks are terrible/water down and pricey (for its value). One major plus is that the DJ plays Hispanic music rarely listened/played on most other regular Latino clubs....music such as Rock en Espa?ol, Ballenato (Colombian music), etc
While I do enjoy going into the city, would love to find places in White Plains or surrounding areas where we can meet. It seems this "meetup" only has for-profit-events. At least I have found a group of people (in you guys) that truly enjoy Bachata and other latin music. How about New Rochelle? anyone know of a decent place there?

HI Debbie Is Victor from the Bachata meet up group
so far i got a few emails and suggestion.
I think a good place a couple uf us agree so far tonite is "Son Cubano on 14th street in the West Village
and tomorrow it the best place to party is Pacha also in the city
I do know a couple good places in NJ also , I see you live here my best buddy Sergio also live in Nuttley
well hope we can get a group to go and get some dancing fun
