What is your goal in learning to code?

I spend a lot of time in my job and in my other pastimes working with software, so learning to code is just a natural extension of my interest. Beyond that, I think that learning to code is a) accessible b) useful c) fun My goal is to learn to customize my own websites/apps as well as to communicate more effectively with the programmers I work with.

How much experience do you have with computers and/or coding?

As a 9 year old swapping computer games on floppy disks with my friends until now I've been a 'user' for a long time. Strangely enough, even as an IT professional the first line of code I think I've ever written was my first Codecademy lesson last week!

Hi, I'm Ron, I look forward to meeting all of you.
