How long have you been playing D&D? or new to D&D? What edition do you prefer to play? 4th ed., 3.5, other?

I played AD&D in high school then forgot about it for about 15 years. Started playing Pathfinder (so that would make me most familiar with 3.5 I guess) and haven't looked back. I would like to play more D&D and open to the different editions. (Can't knock em till I've tried em after all!) I'm more of a role player than a roll player if that makes sense though I'm not the kind of player who makes a completely useless combination that can't do anything in combat etc..

What's your Favorite Book? (D&D related or not)

Too many to list. Started with the Belgariad series by David Edding when I was a kid. Loved Game of Thrones, all Robin Hobb books, Stephen King - am enjoying the Walking Dead graphic novels right now.

How often would you prefer to play? monthly, weekly, daily, at night, on weekends

Weekly would be good. Not sure how much I can play till I get a job but would be looking at maybe one weeknight and one weekend day? Love all day gaming sessions: 10am to late...

What's your favorite class to play? Wizards, Fighters, Rogues, Priests etc.

I started out with more roguish types, my most recent character is a Tripping/Repositioning Tiefling Monk but I really do enjoy being a skill monkey - at the very least a party face with good combat support. Not a fan of being "just" a BDF. Happy not to be the main damage dealer as long as I have the ability to work in different situations not just a "one trick" pony build.

Hi, I'm Melissa - love RPG/tabletop. Originally from New Zealand and always looking for new games to join up! Haven't played as much DnD as I'd like, lots of Pathfinder, some Shadowrun/ LGR and Cthulhu.
