Artist Bio: Sara Axelrod is a recent graduate of New York University (BA). She received her degree in history and creative writing, and has always painted and been active within the arts. Her work has been exhibited online and with the Renaissance NYC. She is a Berlin Collective artist and will be exhibiting this summer 2012 in Brooklyn, NY. To view more of her works and for sales, please contact: [masked]
Sara is inspired by the wonderful variety of people that she meets living in New York City. Every street corner, bar stool and park bench is a story. Sara synthesizes abstracts and personalizes the exciting reality of her everyday life through writing and painting. For Sara, art is an expression of her unique ability to connect with others. Whether traveling to other continents or taking a subway uptown, Sara observes the lives of others. Art is Sara's means of reconciling individual and collective consciousness. Sara paints to liberate her thoughts from structural constraints of writing. Color and shape have an immediate freedom, unlike the layers of language. She discovered that painting aligns her mind and body, doing wonders for the heart. If anything, painting is an expression of passion and a process that enhances wellbeing. The process of creation enables one to feel whole. Painting is a creative place where Sara allows consciousness to become fluid. To find out more and view Sara’s talented works go to

Pretty good, but more a poetry reading than an art exhibit. Most people cleared our ASAP.
