work on our costumes

I was thinking of Cosplaying for NYCC and one of the hardest things to do is making time in one afternoon to actually work on it.

So I was thinking that maybe we could meet and work on some stuff together, or buy fabric or sew things, etc and that way we force each other to actually make time and other people always have good ideas.

What do you think?

FYI I am a complete newbie at this.
