So, this is only LCG-adjacent, but I'm sure you're aware that FFG recently published a board game in the LotR universe, Journeys in Middle-earth. It's another co-op game, but of a different character than the LCG—more of a Mansions of Madness (or maybe Imperial Assault/Descent) style of exploring a physical map and completing objectives.
I've played a few of the adventures already, and it's loads of fun! Simple enough for, say, my 9-year-old nephew to play with me (we spanked the first adventure together), but with engaging decisions to make regardless. Will D expressed an interest in trying the game, so I thought I'd open it up to the group. No prep required!
I'm defaulting to my own apartment for this one; I may drag my LCG binders through snow/rain/heat/gloom of night, but this box is chunky enough that I'll avoid lugging it around if possible, heh.
