We'll get together once a month, and at a certain point, ramp it up a bit, once every 2 weeks, or even weekly to divvy up fresh, home-cooked meals we make at home to save money and eat healthier. I myself often lack the focus, energy, time and motivation to cook healthy, wholesome meals, even though I have tons of cookbooks and know how to. Being single can do that to you, and it's not good for my waistline or my budget. We can meetup at my place (I have a large dining room and kitchen) and divide whatever meals people bring into tupperwares, taking home nice portions to eat through-out the week. One of the main reasons I don't like cooking as a single woman is leftovers... I'm not a fan... so this kind of takes care of that problem. Instead of eating the same meal 7 nights in a row, we can have 7 or more people come and eat a different meal each night of the week! My apartment has a very spacious living room, dining room and kitchen. It's best we prepare food at our own places, but if needed, we can do some meal prep at my place too. I have a slow cooker, rice cooker, deep fryer and every other cooking gadget imaginable. I'm no longer a vegetarian, so I'm open to meals of any kind. Healthy is nice though. Casseroles and one pot meals are great. We'll balance it out when we see what people plan to bring.
Maybe we can kick back and have a few drinks too. I have a nice big patio/2nd flr. Balcony with a grill, seats, a table, etc, nice view of trees, perfect for chilling out on.
