OCaml Meeting 2013 in Boston

From: Ashish A.
Sent on: Monday, August 5, 2013 10:06 AM
Dear NYC OCaml List,

For the first time, the OCaml Meeting will be held close by, in Boston, on September 24th. The meeting brings together industrial users of OCaml with academics and hackers who are working on extending the language, type system and tools. Discussions will focus on the practical aspects of OCaml programming and the nitty gritty of the tool-chain and upcoming improvements and changes. Please see the meeting page [1] and full program [2] for more information.

The meeting is part of a week long series of events on functional programming (FP). The two main events are: ICFP, the premier academic conference for FP researchers, and CUFP, the premier conference for commercial users of FP. In addition, there are several smaller meetings on other FP languages and topics. See the full list here [3]. If you are interested in FP, this is the week of events not to miss. Registration for all events is through the ICFP website [4].

If you're interested in room sharing or coordinating travel, feel free to email me directly with your plans.
