• meeting people in the same boat as you and making new friends
• opportunities to gradually conquer social fears in a safe supportive setting
Overcoming SA isn't about embarrassing yourself in public or practicing nonconstructive exercises which won't translate into reality. It's about changing some stubborn, difficult habits and constantly being a little bit better than you were yesterday. Embrace inevitable failure but never give up. For you will only fail the moment you give up.
Every person has a story and it's not always what you might think. Everyone is encouraged to speak their thoughts and share their ideas. Because what an injustice it will be that the world may have never heard you.
