CT Tragedy Prayer Quilts

Post #: 81
My friend who knows several people who lost little ones on Friday is making prayer quilts (with her CT Stitch 'n Bitch group) for the surviving siblings. If you would like to contribute a square or more please see the below details. Any squares that are ready by Wednesday I will pick up at the group and mail out, any others can be mailed to the address below.

Thank you!

Details from Tania:

Knit or Crochet 6 inch squares.

Use yarn that can be machine washed.

Use any color you'd like - this will be patchwork in nature.

Do not worry about them being perfect - they will be appreciated however they come and we will piece them together into a beautiful gesture of love.

The blankets will be given to the siblings of the children who died.

We would like to collect all the squares by December 31, 2012.

Please send your squares to:

Thank you to Nicole that donated squares and Judy blankets. Lovely and generous work! They are still putting the quilts together up north since they got such a great response from all over.
