This month's presentation is all about what's new with the PowerApps Platform, presented by Kathryn Birstein of Insight and Sonal Bordia, Microsoft Partner Technical Architect.
First up, Kathryn will review the PowerApps/Flow Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit, which Microsoft introduced last month. You can check out the post here:
The starter kit consists of multiple tools that are designed to help you hit the ground running with your CoE. As of today, the starter kit focuses specifically on the Administration and Governance function of the CoE, but Microsoft plans to grow it over time to be include the three other functions of any CoE: Training, Support and Operations.
The kit provides eleven templates that provide things like canvas apps to create an App Catalog and build a DLP Editor.
Next, Sonal will introduce the AI Builder for the Power Platform, the new low code artificial intelligence platform which is currently available in Preview for North America and Europe. The AI Builder works on data in the Common Data Service (CDS), the enterprise-grade datastore included in the Power Platform.
Finally, Sonal will finish up with a short overview of the exciting PowerApps/Flow and D365 licensing changes that are coming up in October. Goodbye P1/P2!
So don't miss this session if you want to keep up with what's going on in the Power Platform world . . .
As usual, pizza from Joe's and soft drinks will be provided.
