Dear NYC Predictive Analytics Members,

This Friday, July 29th at 6pm bitly will host the New York branch of a nationwide hackathon at our New York office. You can sign up and learn more at -- there are only a handful of spots left!
What exactly is the hackathon? For the last several months, most US government content across the web has shortened to using bitly. For this hackathon, we are making the realtime bitly clickstream data for these URLs (as well as daily data archives) available for hacking. We wrote a bit more about this data and what makes it so special on our blog at

We hope to see you there! And if you can't make it in person, we still encourage you to hack on this data -- which is documented on the website at -- and share your project on Twitter with the #1USAgov hashtag.
