Company Name?

I am the software developer at Weidlinger Associates New York. I primarily develop plugins for Revit to automate repetitive modelling tasks and interpolation tools which communicate Revit design information across a range of other software.

Which Revit product do you use?

Primarily Revit Structures 2012/2013. MEP and Architectural on occasion.

How many BIM projects have you worked on?

A handful.

What is your profession?

I'd say I'm best described as an architectural designer who uses symbols as his primary tool. I develop software for cash flow but my primary work is in researching the utilization of AI techniques in kinetic structures and algorithmic design methods. My research is focused on adaptive, intelligent environments and the implementation of algorithmic systems to directly inform design decisions.

I'm a architecturally trained, software developing designer interested in algorithms.
