Some opportunities to learn more about Rails

Hello NYC Ruby Women,

I know a number of you have been looking for more opportunities to study and learn the Ruby language as well as the Rails framework. You're in luck: In a couple weeks there are two Rails events that you might like to check out:

– For the very new to Rails, Code Crew is starting a co-ed Rails Study group on June 8. RSVP & get details.

– For the very experienced Rails developers, Tom Brown of Grouper will talk about "Rails - The Missing Parts" at NYC.rb on June 10. RSVP & get details. I'll be there in case you want to hang out with a familiar face.

If you do go to either event, tell us about it at our next Hack & Chat at XO Group on June 16. Save yourself a spot!

The NYC Ruby Women Hack & Chat gives women and women-identifying people an opportunity to connect with and learn from other Ruby developers who happen to be women and women-identifying. Like other developer communities in the city, we expressly forbid recruiting at our Hack & Chats.
