I have recently been using Ruby and Go together in a large ETL process. I think there might be an interesting talk in there somewhere about concurrent programming in Ruby and how we used Go for things that made Ruby sad. For folks passively interested in Go, we can also show a Rosetta Stone of the concurrent techniques we used in both languages for the ETL.
