Welcome to the future! From the creators and organizers of New York Tech & Beer®, New York AI Users brings together AI users and enthusiasts who intend to use AI to meet their creative, entrepreneurial and technical aspirations. We will provide private spaces for groups of like-minded people to gather and discuss how they are using AI, and speakers to give talks on AI-related topics. Join us if you have an interest in AI and its potential and want to connect with others in a community that feels the same!

AI tools like OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Bard, Midjourney, Dall-E, and many others will play an increasingly large role in our day-to-day lives. Doctors will use it in various areas of medicine, and possibly everyone will use to it process and visualize any type of data, no matter how unstructured. To this end, New York AI Users will host at the Bryant Park-adjacent, wall-to-ceiling windowed startup HQ of EdTech & AI firm Merlyn Mind! Merlyn will also provide free pizza and drinks! From the creators and organizers of New York Tech & Beer®, New York AI Users will bring together AI enthusiasts in the New York area who use or want to use AI to meet their creative, entrepreneurial, and technical aspirations. No technical background is required, only an interest in making use of these tools of the future.
For our sixth meeting, we will gather at Merlyn Mind HQ in Midtown, and we will host:
- Talks on AI
- Our first talk will be by Dr. Ravi Parikh, a New York City ophthalmologist (eye doctor) and distinguished speaker, who will discuss AI's future in the field of medicine
- Next, we'll hear from Andriy Mulyar, a Series A tech founder who will talk about how we can use AI to process and visualize any data, even unstructured data
- An interactive demo of Midjourney AI’s art generation capabilities
- Social time to connect and talk with other experts and enthusiasts
