DAM after DAM

With today's job market, we will sometimes migrate from one organization to another organization. We, as DAM professionals, will encounter some of the same as well as different challenges when it comes to Digital Asset Management as it relates to the people, process, technology and information involved. Time after time and DAM after DAM, we will identify and discuss what these challenges and successes happen to be. Join us on Wednesday 3/20 for this latest panel discussion with Carol Thomas-Knipes, Jeff Casto, and Chad Beer.

Great meeting! Thank you, Chad, Carol and Jeff for providing your perspectives and experience on a host of DAM issues, not the least of which is how to get people on board within the organization for a successful DAM implementation. You each shared valuable insights from your varied backgrounds -- it was a DAM smorgasbord!

Thanks Chad, Carol and Jeff for generously sharing your experiences and helpful advice like: "The organization comes from what you are trying to accomplish" and explaining ROI through story-telling. See you at the next event!

Hi Barbara, one thing we did in the past was to create a "metadam" with one portal/interface to access the separate DAMs. Happy to chat in more detail. Would be good to know the DAM types and hear what a Developer has to say based on that info and the purpose of the 4/5 DAMS.

Trying to consolidate under one global DAM (spanning 4 distinct corporate segments)…Would like to hear about experiences with instituting one DAM to service all global functional needs. Also would like to hear about experiences where a production house was inserted into the mix to drive the structure and processes of the DAM. Thanks!
