What is your history with fermentation or what are you interested in learning about?

I've been fermenting a few things for many years and a lot of things for a couple years. I write a blog (www.phickle.com) about fermentation and I teach classes here in Philly. I have a short attention span for hobbies, so fermentation is perfect for me. Once I get something working how I like it, I can move on to the next branch of fermentation. It's an endless supply of new things. I love learning whatever I can from whoever I can!

How did you find out about NYC Ferments?

Through Meetup.

Introduction

I write the fermentation blog Phickle.com and my vegetable fermentation book, Ferment Your Vegetables, will be out this fall. Love ferments of all kinds and teaching fermentation is my favorite thing to do !
