  • We will be on the upper level.
  • We are going to have our July meet up a little early. In honor of the 4th of July the topic will be the U.S.A.

What do you like and/or dislike about this country? What would you like to change about our nation? Do you believe in American Exceptionalism? Do you feel like leaving sometimes? Should we tell other people coming here is a mistake?

Speak freely. Don't worry about upsetting the government - We have the First Amendment.

I think it is obvious that none of the Constitutional-Bill Of Rights are absolute, to be more specific Free Speech is not an absolute right. There are limitations.
What is problematic is drawing the line. To compare Free Speech in the U.S. with other countries: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_speech_by_country

What I like about this country is that I can criticize the government and politicians. What I do not like is that others can do the same. :-)

Do I feel like leaving sometimes? Not really. Certainly not permanently. But I can understand others wanting to do so. People vote with their feet. So far as I know there are more people leaving their countries coming to this country than vice versa. No, I do not think we should tell other people it is a mistake to come here. Let them find out for themselves.
