Healthcare AI/ML/data-science hack night. Aim: Build an end-to-end data-science/AI/ML application for a specific healthcare related problem. Additional materials: 1) National Institute of Health (NIH) malaria dataset (https://ceb.nlm.nih.gov/repositories/malaria-datasets/) 2) Blog post on malaria detection using deep learning (https://towardsdatascience.com/detecting-malaria-with-deep-learning-9e45c1e34b60) Targeted audience: General public interested in solving healthcare related data problems. Minimum requirements: Basic understanding of either R or Python 3 (Python 3 is the preferred language. The past projects have all been Python 3 based.)
