For those of you that may have interest in starting and/or continuing with your Irish genealogy research, The Genealogy Event returns for the 4th year to the Fitzgerald's Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, Limerick.

This offer includes discounts on a subscription to the Irish Roots magazine as well as membership to Roots Ireland, a popular records database.
A few highlights:
- talks include topics such as records of the National Library of Ireland, Military Archives of Ireland, Irish Newspapers Archive; as well as DNA, and a discussion Ireland's history with mother and care home, adoptions and Magdalene laundries.
- special events that include a farm & bbq at Adare Farm (& their fabulous ice cream), a walking tour of the Georgian quarter of Limerick and a tasting dinner plus dinner at a thatched roof cottage in Adare.
